The first team back with the most items on the list correct is the winner; accuracy counts more than speed. Teams will search for answers and complete challenges from around the grounds.

Gnomes are the oldest inhabitants of Mohonk, having carved out the Labyrinth and many of our rock formations. Yet, they’re devilishly hard to find! In this event, teams travel to various locations in search of different gnomes. Each gnome presents the group with a challenge that will reveal a secret combination for your next clue.

If you loved treasure hunting as a kid, you’ll love it even more now! Teams need to work together solving clues to locate the treasure.

Each member of your group is an integral part of the whole, and that’s what Puzzle Quest is all about! Teams will travel throughout the property solving clues to obtain puzzle pieces. Once each team has acquired all their pieces, all teams work together to complete the puzzle.

Take great team pictures all while finding iconic viewpoints of the grounds.

This wild team building event is based on the idea that teams can build a racecar out of PVC pieces that can actually run a course! Be prepared to put on your thinking caps, work together, and have some fun.

Teams must solve their own series of puzzles, clues, and missing elements to win. All teams are trapped in a room together and running against the clock.

This whimsical event will introduce your team to the fast paced and hilarious sport, Tricycle Polo. Competitors will ride three-wheel trike-style bicycles as they chase the marker ball, as well as the opposing team, around the playing field. Teams will be able to substitute players during play for a continuously moving activity. This sport does not reward just the physically fit participant; strategy and execution are the primary ingredients for success.

The classic beanbag game with a new twist. Your team has 9 holes to complete and each new hole presents a new challenge to the group!

Rope ties, riddles, puzzles, stretching and more to get your group up and moving between meetings.

Teams each build a boat out of cardboard that will race, carrying members to a point on the lake and back.

Compete against the Gamemaster in a series of challenges that will eliminate competitors until a winner is decided. Eliminated players can choose to stay involved in subsequent challenges, this time on the side of the Gamemaster.

Great activity for recreation or corporate groups, family outings or special couple weekends! With the help of skilled and experienced instructors, each team agrees on a design and creates a sculpture.

This event not only has you participating with your teammates but using them as the ball in this unique game of human bowling. That’s right, giant bowling pins, one team member on a saucer sled, and there you have it, a game that will give your team a chance to have fun in a way they haven’t before!

Played on the ice surface, similar to a giant frozen shuffleboard using genuine curling stones weighing 42lbs. Some flexibility is required. Players must be at least 13 years of age.

A charity build-off mixed with a bit of competition. Teams will utilize a variety of objects and materials including canned goods and dry food to construct a chain-reaction contraption. Each team’s creation is just one part of the whole though, as the event finishes with a test of all contraptions put together for one big “Chain Reaction”. All canned and dry food will be donated to either a local food pantry or charity of your choice.

The trolley, traffic jam, and blind walk, are just a few of the initiatives that are available to you. The success or failure of these games is not as important as what the group learns in the process of participating in each activity. Approximate length is 1½ -3 hours. Reclaiming this ancestral knowledge is not as difficult as you might think and requires only a few ingredients: some raw materials, a fundamental understanding of the laws of nature, and a passionate curiosity for learning. This journey can be a struggle or a dance, depending on your level of skill. In this exercise in group dynamics, you will learn the ‘Basic 3’ elements of survival, and have a lot of fun doing it.

Led by one of Mohonk’s expert yoga instructors, your yoga hike will take you through the trails around Mohonk, stopping at scenic vistas to practice short yoga sequences that stretch and strengthen the body and open the eyes, mind and heart. Being outdoors instead of in a yoga studio will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and focus on your breath and the moment, helping you to experience a deeper and more mindful yoga practice.

Things will be looking up for your group when you rock climb on Sky Top–one of the most spectacular cliffs in the country, with over 300 documented climbs. And once you’re at the summit by Sky Top Tower, you can see spectacular views of the Hudson Valley and beyond! All climbs proceed under the tutelage of Alpine Endeavors, the Hudson Valley’s premier guide service.

Join Mohonk’s Naturalist and tracker Michael Ridolfo for a hike through forest and field while learning effective ways to increase your awareness and learn valuable, time-tested survival skills. Our predecessors thrived in this rich and diverse environment, and with a few simple tools you will be reminded of the power and abundance of nature and how it has sustained humans for thousands of generations.

Enjoy a sport similar to hockey but played without skates. Players must be at least 13 years of age.

Bring your singing voice and get ready to belt your favorites and the classics at a private Karaoke night!

Mohonk is a grand place to enjoy a s’more or two, a campfire song, or your favorite story in a private setting. Included are lawn games like giant Jenga, cornhole, and more!

Enjoy this classic game with a fun interactive ‘disco’ twist. A perfect combination of fun, relaxation and competition. Participants will play 5 bingo games that are carefully themed to Disco music with various challenges along the way. 1-1½ hours.

When the night sky is clear, Mohonk is a great place to view the universe. We have very few lights to wash out the sky. The Big Dipper and other constellations are as bright as can be. This event is available at limited times so please make your requests early. Approximate length is 1½-2 hours. Available during evening hours, any day of the week.

This event tests your team building and bartending skills in a fun, fast paced cocktail creation game. Small groups are set head-to-head to mix spirits and other ingredients for the title of Best Cocktail or Mocktail!

Bring the group together to play the classics as well as experience new and unique board games curated by our recreation team. We can set up the event as a casual game night or turn it into a competition event!
