The sheer number of activities on her summertime visit impressed her most of all: “We really loved relaxing by the lake but also trying new things, like canoeing, pedal boats, hiking and tomahawk throwing. “The staff was incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, and kind,” said our tester. “Even with kids running a bit amok, I never felt like I had to be apologetic for it.” She also raved about the food. “We did a few lunches by the lake, which was just such a beautiful backdrop,” she said. “Plus, my husband is gluten-free and we’re both dairy-free, and they were always able to accommodate us.”
