The rowboats at Mohonk Mountain House have a storied connection to Lowell’s Boat Shop, America’s oldest operating boat shop founded in 1793, where tradition and craftsmanship are paramount.
Built by hand, using patterns and notes passed down through generations, the Mohonk Skiffs embody centuries of nautical heritage, ensuring each boat is unique. This partnership celebrates the artistry of wooden boat building, allowing you to experience the rich history and craftsmanship firsthand on Lake Mohonk.
