Please note – Winter hiking is available unless snowy trails require cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Both snowshoes and skis are available free of charge at the Ski Shop. Check daily trail report for trail conditions.
Photo ID is required for all equipment rentals.
Ladies size 6 up – Men’s size 16 if wearing hiking boots.
If you have large snow boots they will fit up to Men’s size 14.
Poles are available on request.
Hiking Trails open all year—weather & trail conditions dependent
Our most iconic hike. From the Lake Porch, take Huguenot Drive to Sky Top Road & pass our Lily Pond. On a clear day, six states can be seen from the observation deck.

From the Valet Porch, take Eagle Cliff Road past the Tennis Courts for an easy-moderate walk through the lush forests. Scan QR codes along the way at summerhouses & look-outs to be guided through a mindfulness exercise with Nina Smiley Ph.D. herself.

From the Valet Porch, take Copes Lookout Road past the Tennis Courts to the Scenic Vista at the end of the road loop. Return via Copes Lookout Path.

From the Lake Porch, take Lake Shore Path. Turn around at the southern end of the Lake.

From the Lake Porch, pass the boat dock and head across the wooden bridge. After the sign to the Labyrinth, turn left on Spring Path to the Mohonk Spring, once used as the source of the resort’s drinking water. Return via Forest Drive and Lake Shore Road.
